    There are 3 factors to consider when booking a Hotel, in a foreign country, over the internet: Location, Location, Location! Oh yeah, there's also room design, decor, amenities, etc. But come on... the owner/designer graduated from Parsons School of Design. So you know that's taken care of! The staff are amazingly helpful and truly go out of their way to create an uniquely authentic experience for you. Not to mention, you're in the middle of the everything you could possibly want to be in the middle of: 101 Reykavik! Having all of the shops, bars, restaurants and tour companies a few feet away, not only saves time, it also saves money.... and since time IS money: BOOM! Double Savings!! This was an "Engagement Honeymoon" and I'm glad I splurged and went for the 101, it was worth every penny. For what it is and where you are, it's actually a deal. This is THE place to stay in Reykjavik. End of.

    After traveling nearly 22 hours, we were met with a smile and promptly shown to our room at 7:00 AM so that we could recover from our trip. Exceptional service and kindness from all personnel. Great experience.
